Mixed and Mastered
With Alex in Michigan and Dean in New York, it was up to Josh to get the final mix to Mike Wells for mastering. And well, it’s done! The album artwork has been finalized and will be sent with the mastered recording to be printed and pressed next week. We have a hard deadline with the CD release show coming up on January 24 at Bottom of the Hill. Cutting it close once again.
This has been a relativley quiet year for the band. Thanks for sticking by us and we hope to see you next year Cheers!
Last Tracks and Mixing
We’ve begun the rough mixes for the album and we’re laying down the final parts. There is a great raw energy behind the music this go-around. It’s been hard to get everyone in the studio to wrap things up but we will have the album done this year. That gives us a month. Yikes!
A Slight Pause
The record is coming along nicely. The songs are growing and coming together quickly. Our personal schedules are what’s holding us up now. Ha ha! Such is life. This weekend Donald, who is recording the album, is getting married and Alex is leaving for Europe for a few weeks. We’ll give you an update when the band gets back in the studio.
Recording has begun
A few weeks ago we entered Zoe Street Studios and began recording drums for the new album. Some of the ideas are more flushed out than others, none the less it feels great to be back in the studio again.
In Search Of…
With Thad's departure, we will be holding auditions for a fourth member after our April tour. We will be looking for someone who plays multiple instruments. Our influences are vast but to drop a few names… Spoon, BRMC, Elliot Smith, and Supergrass. Get it? Can you play keys, and don’t mind playing percussion here and there? Harmonica, cello, lap steel, or wind instruments? Awesome!
Let us know what instruments you play and what bands you dig if you’d like to audition.
Newness
In the coming months our website will be re-vamped. More importantly, our third release, “All The Secrets You Know”, will be recorded and available this summer. Come to one of our shows to get a sneak peak…rrr…listen.
Home Sweet Home!
Our Southern California tour was a blast! We had a great time playing new venues and meeting new friends.
Now that we’re somewhat settled back in the Bay, we are pleased to announce a very special show this Thursday in San Francisco. This is our first show in SF in 7 months and will be jam packed with new songs; certainly one not to miss. What makes this show even more special is that we are playing with our great friends from Portland, The Dimes and (fresh off their gig with Silversun Pickups) Jonah. We have been waiting for a show with this line-up for a very long time. Please come out and show your support! It would mean the world for us to see you there!

Changing Tides
We would like to wish Thad, our guitars, a heartfelt farewell. He has been a great friend and will be missed dearly by us, our tour mates, and fans. We wish him all the best in his future endeavours. It can’t go without saying that he and his wife, Sarah, recently brought to the world a son, Lukas, a future guitar god!
