Were does the time go? It's getting so close to the end of another year. Anaura will be taking the months of December and January to write new songs and spend time with family and friends over the holidays. We’d like to thank everyone who came out and supported us, all of the venues that had us, and all of the bands that we shared the stage with. We wish you all the best in 2006!

We can’t wait to see everyone in Oregon. Three shows, three towns. The ‘Oh, We’re in Trouble’ Tour begins in less than a week! Ask us for stickers. There are two new designs.

Hmmm. The first time Anaura played Oregon, Alex had a broken hand. Then we came back without incident, other than a bad case of the good times. Dean decided to follow suit and smash his hand before this tour. We were going to post the pictures but they are far too graphic. Even without the use of a finger, he is still able to play without a problem. If you want the full story, you’ll just have to ask Dean. Cheers!

Check out our electronic press kit for the release of our new album, “if we get away with this”. It's sort of a day-in-the-life of Anaura. It contains clips of us recording the new album, cruising on the road to Oregon and Los Angeles, show footage and the general goofing around that goes along with a bunch of dudes spending too much time in one vehicle. It’s a bit dated, being that we have Dean in the band now, but we’ve got to give mad props to Donald (aka, Diesel) and all the hard work he put into the album and all the fun we had on the road. Be prepared Dean, be prepared!

Thanks to everyone who came out to the Café du Nord show. We had a great time even though it was our last show with Donald. For those of you who don't know, Donald has been going to culinary art school and will be leaving for his externship in Italy in December. Be sure to wish him luck with his studies and upcoming adventures.

With Donald’s departure, we began looking for his replacement over the past month. We are excited to introduce you to Dean Faustman, who will be playing his first show with us August 25th. Stay tuned for details.

Mike Wells mastered our CD last night / this morning and it sounds kick! Here is a new song that you've never heard before, its called ‘Gas & Beer’. Let us know what you think! All of the new lyrics are posted now too.The new CD will be available in June.

You may have heard us play a few of these tracks live as we were working out new ideas. Many of the songs have taken a new life with the addition of Thad on guitar, fx, and keyboards. We can’t wait for you to hear the new album!

The new album is almost complete. We’ve said this so many times but its finally true! We've begun mixing the tracks and discussing the song order. In the beginning of April the new tunes will be mastered ready for pressing and distribution. Look for some new bells and whistles on our site at the end of the month as well. We can't wait to have our CD release party and you'll be the first to know when and where it will take place. Cheers!
