This is Alex. I justed wanted to post something about Diamond-Dimebag Darrell Abbott. As many of you know, I love hard rock/metal and more importantly how big of a loss this is to the music community. Pantera help keep my love for metal when it was starting to fade away in repetitivness. Thank you to the one and only CFH!

Oregon was a blast! Chico didn’t end up working out, but it was a nice stop coming back home. The dude who snuck into Drew’s window with the paintball guns kinda sucked, but we managed to make it home without incident. Our next show is coming up pretty quick, so go to our shows page for more details. Recording is going well but we have a lot of work ahead of us.

If you are fans of Addison or Judith and Holofernes, ask them about a secret show they will be playing soon at our studio.

Just wanted to give everyone a quick update. Anaura is hard at work in the studio. We are working on two songs that no one has heard before. They are different than anthing that we've done before and should be a special surprise. Look for Anaura in Oregon in October. We are still trying to book Seatle, Washington so let us know if you have friends to help us out a bit. We are sorry the Chico show this month was cancelled. If the Seatle show doesn’t work out, we are still working on a possible show in Chico on the 16th of October. Another shout out goes to Low Rise for being great friends and helping us along the way.

We’ve begun recording our next E.P. Josh has tracked his drums and a piano piece. We’ll be recording between shows and we hope to have some new songs for you in September. Come out and meet Anaura’s fourth member, Thad Baker. His duties include guitar, keyboards, vocals and some nifty effects. He brings a lot of talent and new depth to the band. Cheers!
