Thanks to everyone who came out to our shows this year. It has been so much fun meeting new bands and fans. In early 2004, we are recording and releasing our second E.P. A special thanks to Josh Pinkston of Jefferson Street for helping us out with a hand full of shows, no pun intended, while Alex’s hand recovered. Josh is a pure talent worthy of your ears. Have you ever seen Alex sing without a guitar in his hands? Now is your chance. In late October, Alex broke his left hand in a freak computer accident. Ok, so he punched his computer monitor and received a boxer’s fracture, where his pinky finger knuckle meets his hand. The show must go on! Josh Pinkston of Jefferson Street has kindly accepted guitar duties while Alex’s hand continues to heal. Expect to see this form of Anaura through the mini-tour in late November.

From November 20-23, Anaura will be going on a small tour with Jefferson Street. Check back for more details and dates.

Thanks for visiting our site. We finished our first e.p. The single is, ‘Worse for Drink’.

Our e.p. is ready to be pressed. All five songs have been mastered. Now its time to get back into our rehearsal space and begin practicing. We hope to play our first show in July.

So much for practicing. Over the past few weeks we’ve begun recording our first ep as Anaura. Donald is producing, mixing, and engineering our first effort from his pad, out in the Sunset.
